- The Dachshund Waterproof Suit has been designed to keep your dog dry, especially underneath their stomach & on their front legs.
- The unique feature for this coat is the Zipped Extension to create an extra 6cm if required to cover your dogs back. It is very important that your dogs back & kidneys are covered as much as possible to protect them against the elements. If your dog wears a harness it is placed over the top of the coat, this is due to harness attachments being in so many different places & your harness also acts as a placeholder for the coat. Correct fitting of the harness is essential over the coat – you may need to increase the harness straps slightly.
- Your dog will still be able to go to the toilet as there is a gap at the back & it is shaped with elastic underneath for our boy dogs.
- The suit features an Elasticated Chest/stomach to ensure the coat fits your Dachshunds body shape.
- Bright Yellow Reflectors on the sides & back of the coat for added safety for road walking at night.
- A Zip Flap Protector under the back zip to ensure your dog’s fur does not get caught when zipping them into the suit.
- A Handy External Pocket perfect for letting your dog carry their own supply of poo bags.
Please Note: If your dog wears a harness it should be placed over the top of the coat.

How to use
- Place front legs in first being careful to not to catch nails.
- Fasten neck press studs.
- Place rear legs in coat being careful with nails.
- Fasten first rear press stud.
- Zip up coat making sure the inner zip flap protects fur.
- Fasten rear press studs to suit dogs length.

Keep away from open fires, naked flames, electric & fan heaters. Always make sure they have fresh cold water to drink. Remove the coat if you see any signs of overheating, discomfort or anxiety.
